These informal outings are a great way to experience the city, build new connections, reconnect with colleagues, and enjoy time together in a relaxed setting outside of the meeting.

Coast Walk Trail

The Cave Store
Take in some of San Diego’s most beautiful coastal scenery on a relaxed group walk along the Coast Walk Trail. Enjoy ocean views, fresh air, and great conversation while connecting with fellow ASR attendees before conference activities begin. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Torrey Pines Gliderport

Visit the iconic Torrey Pines Gliderport to watch paragliders and hang gliders soar above the Pacific Ocean. This scenic gathering offers spectacular views, plenty of photo opportunities, and a chance to mingle with colleagues in one of San Diego’s most unique outdoor settings.

Old Town Trolley Tour

San Diego Whale Watching – Sunset Cruise
