Northern Biomedical Research (NBR) is a state-of-the-art research facility dedicated to supplying in vivo support in the areas of pharmacology, toxicology, pharmacokinetics, safety, and medical device evaluation. For over 25 years NBR has been a leader in the field of CNS delivery and development of novel techniques to characterize the pharmacokinetics and biodistribution of pharmaceuticals following administration. In support of an ever-increasing research demand, NBR has recently expanded into cardiovascular, ophthalmology and orthopedic disciplines and supports programs in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines as well as other developmental non-GLP applications in a wide variety of research species. NBR Is an AAALAC accredited facility and is registered with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the Michigan Department of Agriculture, and the Michigan Department of Public Health.
